Today is a special day! First, I am sharing Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles with you. Is there anything better than chocolate and peanut butter? I think not! Second, it’s a very special blogger’s birthday, Kimberly of Bake Love Give. Happy Birthday, Kimberly!! In celebration of Kimberly’s birthday, we are having a virtual birthday party for her. Woot! Woot!
Let’s talk Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles. I am a wee-bit obsessed with truffles – cookie dough and Oreo. They’re just SO easy, always a crowd pleaser, and there are so many flavor options. Say hello to my little friends: Daisy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles, Funfetti Truffles, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Truffles, Birthday Cake Oreo Truffles, and Strawberry Lemonade Oreo Truffle Pops.
These no-bake Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles are SO easy! You’ll be food processing the entire Oreo cookie into crumbs, and then mix those Oreo cookie crumbs with cream cheese and scoop them into bite-size balls. You'll then melt some chocolate {not chocolate chips}, I used Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers, because I love them, and that is how I roll and then dip. To garnish these bad boys, I crushed Reese’s Pieces with a rolling pin and sprinkled on top.
There is not a lot to say about these Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles other than they’ll knock your socks off! You’ll want to grab yourself a glass of milk for these delicious chocolate and peanut butter treats.
It's Kimberly’s Virtual Birthday Party! I am so excited to be celebrating her special day with her and a bunch of other fabulous bloggers! Please head over to Bake Love Give and wish Kimberly a Happy Birthday and check out her awesome recipes, Salted Caramel Layer Cake, anyone?
You’ll also want to visit my fellow food bloggers and see what they are baking up for Kimberly. I promise you won’t be disappointed! You’ll want to try these birthday goodies!

Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles
Ingredients
- Peanut Butter Oreo Cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese
- Reese's Pieces, crushed
- 2 and ½ cups dark chocolate melting wafers
- 2 and ½ tablespoons paramount crystals¹
Instructions
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a food processor, crush Peanut Butter Oreo Cookies into crumbs.
- In a large bowl using an electric mixer, cream together Oreo cookie crumbs and cream cheese; mix until combined.
- Using a small cookie scoop (2 teaspoons), drop balls onto parchment paper lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm enough to handle.
- Place Reese's Pieces in a baggie and crush with rolling pin to desired sprinkle size.
- In a microwave safe bowl, add dark chocolate candy wafers and paramount crystals. Microwave on medium heat for 30 seconds. Remove and stir slowly. Replace in microwave for 15 second increments until candy wafers are completely melted.
- Dip truffles into melted chocolate using a toothpick, fork or dipping tool and lightly tap to remove excess chocolate; transfer to parchment paper and immediately add crushed Reese's Pieces. Allow Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles to sit until chocolate hardens. Eat & Enjoy!

Peanut butter, YASSS! It's one of my most favorite things in the world. These truffles look wonderful and the colors are perfect for fall, which is right around the corner!

Sarah says
Grace - Oh boy! That must be a very strong love for Oreo cookies! These are a must if you love peanut butter, peanut butter cups, chocolate, Oreos...OK they are just a must all around! 🙂 Thanks!
Joann Woolley says
Oh my goodness, what kind of deliciousness have I just discovered? Pinning and thinking it will be a hit when we make our Halloween treats!

CakePants says
These look completely irresistible! I've had Oreo cream cheese truffles before, but I love that you brought peanut butter into the equation! If I can't find peanut butter Oreos, do you think that swapping out an ounce or two of cream cheese for peanut butter would work?
Sarah says
Cakepants - it shouldn't be difficult to find Peanut Butter Oreos, they are one of their regular flavors now. The substitution you suggested "should" work, but I have not tried it so do not know for sure. It won't have the exact same flavor or texture, but I think it would still be good! 😉 Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
Carlee says
These sound amazing! We normally make oreo truffles (we call them oreo balls) at Christmas time, but have never done a peanut butter version. Reese's Pieces and oreos are two of my favorite guilty pleasures, so there is no way these can't be great!
Sarah says
Thanks Carlee! I <3 Reese's Pieces and Oreo's too! 🙂
Michelle @ A Dish of Daily Life says
