I LOVE Halloween! Halloween baking and Halloween candy making is my absolute FAVORITE.
Have you tried your hand at decorating Jack Skeleton Cupcakes or Halloween Mummy Cupcakes? How about making Monster Mash Halloween Bark or Halloween Pretzel Bites?
These are all excellent, spooky Halloween desserts, and just a few of the many Halloween recipes you can find on Sarah's Bake Studio. What is your favorite Halloween dessert recipe?
Unfortunately, I always seem to run out of Halloween baking time. For some reason, the Halloween season always seems to sneak up on me, and before I know it I need to be baking Thanksgiving and Christmas desserts. Maybe it's because I am clinging so hard to summer, or because there are so many other fall activities - apple picking, pumpkin farms, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, and of course Halloween parties.
Luckily, I was able to make a few Halloween treats this year, and this super-duper easy, and beyond delicious Monster Mash Crockpot Candy was one of them!
Monster Mash Crockpot Candy is a four-ingredient, budget-friendly, white chocolate and peanut concoction that the kiddos and adults will love, and won't take hours of slaving away in the kitchen. This Halloween crockpot candy recipe is as close as you'll ever get to setting and forgetting any dessert. Plus, aren't peanut clusters super fun and festive with their spooky Halloween colors?
Monster Mash Crockpot Candy Ingredients
So, what four ingredients do you need for this slow-cooker Halloween candy...
🎃 Dry Roasted Honey Peanuts. You could use other types of nuts or styles of peanuts but I found the dry roasted honey combo gives these candies a little something-something.
🎃 White Chocolate. You can use white chocolate melting wafers or almond bark. I used a combo of both because that's what I had on hand but using both is not necessary.
🎃 Halloween M&M's Chocolate Candies. This spooky Halloween Ghouls Mix is perfect for crockpot candy monster mash style, but you can change up the M&M's Chocolate Candies colors for different holidays.
🎃 Halloween Nonpareils or Sprinkles. I used the Haunted Halloween Nonpareils, but Halloween Sprinkles would also be spooktacular.
Monster Mash Crockpot Candy Equipment
🎃 6-Quart Crockpot with Lid. You'll need this size or you'll have to cut the recipe down.
🎃 Spatula. Any spatula will do, but I seriously LOVE the Joseph Joseph Elevate Baking Spatula. It doesn't make my counter all messy while the spatula is sitting between mixes.
🎃 Silicone Baking Mat or Parchment Paper. I lined four baking sheets because I can move them around my kitchen if need be. You can also line your countertop or a table, just be cognizant that the white chocolate will need to set so you will lose access to your countertop/table while chocolate cools.
🎃 #50 Food Disher aka Cookie Scoop. You are looking to scoop candy clusters into about tablespoon rounds; this can also be achieved with two spoons. I highly recommend the #50 Zeroll Disher, or the medium cookie scoop (1.5 tablespoons) as I use them a lot in baking.
When it comes to Monster Mash White Chocolate Crockpot Candy three things are certain: (1) this Halloween treat is beyond delicious, (2) they are easy-peasy lemon squeezy to make, and (3) if you use nonpareils you'll be cleaning them up from your kitchen floor for weeks.
Halloween just got a whole lot tastier with this deliciously spooky Monster Mash Crockpot Candy. Muuhahaha!!
