I am a firm believer that mini cupcakes are the BEST. You can’t eat just one, and if you can than you have super human strength and I envy you just a little bit.

Mini Ghost Cupcakes are super cute, beyond easy, and a Halloween MUST cupcake. Plus thye’re mini cupcakes, so they are the black cat’s meow. Meow!
To make Mini Ghost Cupcakes you’ll need your favorite cupcake recipe and vanilla buttercream. For the ghost’s eyes and mouth you can use buttercream colored black, or royal icing black dots. I used the latter; I am a sucker for royal icing transfers.
Get in the Halloween spirit Mini Ghost Cupcakes. They’re hauntingly delicious and really cute too!
- Using a pastry bag filled with vanilla buttercream and fitted with a no. 2A round tip, start with even pressure in the middle of the mini cupcake and pipe a swirl.
- Using a pastry bag filled with black buttercream and fitted with a no. 3 round tip, pipe three black dots. Royal Icing black dots can also be used.
