How to Frost a Rose Cupcake – learn how to frost a beautiful rose cupcake with this easy video tutorial.
Hi. My name is Sarah, and I am a frosting fanatic. There. I said it. I am a frosting fanatic.
I once ate a buttercream rose straight off a sheet pan of buttercream roses. OK, it was more than once.
It’s not just eating frosting that I love; its frosting with frosting that I LOVE {gotta love that sentence}.
I am determined to have my own signature swirl. I’d love to have one that screams, “Sarah’s Bake Studio Cupcake,” but I’d settle for one that I am happy-in-love with and is my go-to frosting swirl. Yeah, that may sound a little crazy, but that’s how I roll. Crazy.
Let’s talk signature swirls. I am still trying to find mine. These Snickerdoodle Cupcakes, 3 Musketeers Cupcakes, White Velvet Cupcakes, and Chocolate Banana Cupcakes can attest to that. They all have very different frosting swirls for that reason.
I ❤ Georgetown Cupcakes’ signature swirl. It’s such a simple look even if it’s more complicated to achieve. Do you like Georgetown Cupcakes' signature swirl? I also LOVE this signature swirl. Thoughts?
Suffice to say, my signature swirl is still a work in progress. Fortunately, you don’t have to be a frosting fanatic or have a signature swirl to frost cupcakes!
Today, I’ll be sharing a quick video tutorial on How to Frost a Rose Cupcake.
You’ll totally love frosting cupcakes with roses because it is super simple, perfect for any occasion {spring}, and the end product is so darn pretty. I mean look at this Rose Cupcake Bouquet. Lovely!

Those frosting roses look beautiful! I completely relate to you with the frosting: I LOVE eating frosting. My husband thinks it's gross that I like frosting and cookie dough lol
Sarah says
Thanks Sarah Jane. There is nothing gross about liking/eating frosting and cookie dough! 😉

So neat! I am so not creative or crafty but maybe I could do this!

You could absolutely do this! It is so easy. One of the easiest ways to frost with a decorating tip, IMO. Go for it! 🙂
