Daisy Mini Cupcakes – your favorite mini cupcakes decked out for spring in colorful buttercream daisies!
Yesterday was the first day of spring, and what better way to ring in spring than with Daisy Mini Cupcakes! I ♥ mini cupcakes and I ♥ warm spring days (keyword being warm). If it’s not warm where you live than these Daisy Mini Cupcakes will warm your kitchen (as you bake them) and your heart (as you eat them).
I made these cutie-patootie Daisy Mini Cupcakes for my niece's 3rd birthday. She had a Doc McStuffins birthday; we decided on colorful buttercream daisies. All she wanted to do was lick the frosting off. You do too, don’t you? Me three!

Daisy Mini Cupcakes
Step 1 | The Petals
You’ve got your delicious mini cupcakes baked and now you’re ready to petal your daisy. Now take your disposable pastry bag fitted with a no.12 round decorating tip and filled with your colored buttercream, and place the tip on the outside of your cupcake, using an even pressure move the tip to the center of your cupcake, lightening up on the pressure as you reach the center. Continue this technique until the entire top of your mini cupcake is covered in petals.
Step 2 | The Central Disc
Using a disposable pastry bag and a no.12 round decorating tip, place a small blob of frosting in the center of your petals. You’ve now got your central disc and Daisy Mini Cupcakes.
